2023 PNW Starfest

I think we need to make a last call for a decision on dates. My vote is for July 14-16. My wife’s annual family reunion in Grand Coulee is July 5-8. I’d like to leave from there, trip up to Canada, over to Vancouver, the down to Puyallup. And I have work the week of the 17th. So the 14-16 works great for me.

I’m going to create an event post and we can fill in the details from there.

Grand Coulee's 20 miles west of us. Maybe join-up for a ride when you're in the area? Keep it in mind come June or so.

Best statistical days for SUNSHINE on the west side is mid-July through mid-August, so August 1 will be smack dab in the middle regarding 'rain free weather'. I grew up over there...

Won't matter to me since I'm non-committed at this point in time, but the wet side has its challenges so it's best to thwart them as much as you possibly can.

I have checked tons of motels north and south of Puyallup but haven't gone as far north as North Bend. All of them are very similar, even in the podunk towns south of here where they are 150 to 200 per night. North Bend is too close to Seattle to have reasonable prices.
