Lone Star Rally

I am planning on being in Galveston, Texas for the Lone Star Rally. I am planning on arriving on the 3rd and leaving early on the 6th.

The last time I went to a rally in Texas was the R.O.T. ( Republic of Texas ) rally in Austin back in the late 1980's. My buddy won the Barrell Race on his rigid frame, springer front end Sportster. The crowd was amazed! What they didn't know was this guy can ride the wheels off of anything. He could get on anyone's bike, having never ridden it, and ride wheelies for as long as space permitted. Hell on a dirt bike too. I have another friend who raced Motocross, and he couldn't hang with this guy. He's around 64 years old now, and every couple years he rides his BMW K1200 LT from Central Texas up to see me in Arizona. I lived in Texas from age 4 to age 29, and he's the only friend I keep contact with. Have fun at the Rally!
