That's a cool video. I'd love to get up in that area and ride around. Not necessarily when the rally is going on but just to take in what it has to offer.

I agree. I don't really want the large crowds and crazies but I think it would be a great place to ride.

DEEPHATE, I wouldn't mind going for a bit just to see the spectacle of all those people and bikes in one place. But outside of seeing it once, I'd much prefer to ride the area when I've got it more to myself or a small group of friends.

Visited Sturgis 2019 May time nothing on almost every bar/restaurant closed seems like they only open when an event is coming to town, the same goes for Daytona (been here twice for bike week as well) great time.
A great place to visit was Deadwood, Mt Rushmore and the devil's tower, i will say that this was part of a road trip in an R V but as i come from England a bike would of been impossible with all the wife gear for 25 days

We hit Yellowstone last May, and hit Sturgis on the way home. Anne couldn't understand why I wanted to check out the entire town on the way through. Pretty much a ghost town in May though. We were in our SUV. Like others, it would be a novelty to check out during the rally, but I'm not big on mass congestion myself.

We went to the Black Hills years ago. I know my wife got tired of me repeating "I wish I had my bike here" daily.

You do that too? A few years ago we were in northern California among the redwoods. I think I told my wife that at least a dozen times.

The riding's nice, but honestly, it barely compares to the rides we'll be taking this summer at Starfest NW.

Fingers crossed that we won't have any major forest fires this summer!

That's very kind of you MidnightRide but I'm of to Canada this year mid June, flying in to Vancouver, driving to Banff, Jasper, Whistler taking a couple of weeks (first time in Canada) looking forward to it
