sooo... is it the not riding an hour back to camp until possibly midnight with slightly fuzzy goggles on - that is the killer here? Or is BBB "happenin' " enough that I need to clear a whole weekend to check it out?

I mean. What do we do at the MnG? ride. what do you do at a rally? ride. It's only an hour out. Gives us a reason to take in the Pig Trail for a morning ride swing into Fayetteville around lunch and kill the day.

And don't attack me or anything. It's an honest question. I've never been to BBB - Covid hit 2 months after I got my bike.

min regards to bbb. Just a simple task of filling and be bike can take a couple hrs. Trying to get a group of us filled up would be quite a task.
a trip down the pig trail can also be something. Sitting on the side of the road for hrs with traffic stopped to get an ambulance down to pick some bikers up. Hrs waiting to get food as well.
most of bbb has moved to Eureka and Rogers. Fayetteville doesn’t want them anymore.
anyone in our group who doesn’t already have their room booked will be sol.
this is just my opinion brother. We all get a say in it.
also you really do need to see bbb.

While it sounds like quite an event I can see your point. Sitting along the road instead of riding isn't ideal. And food and fuel stop issues while probably manageable would still impact riding.

I've got a cabin booked and will just hold on until we get word of any date changes.

Just announced. Bikes Blues & BBQ is officially Oct 5-8, and they've moved it from Fayetteville to Rodgers. Lots of folks on the BBBQ Facebook site talking about basing out of Eureka Springs.

Yes it’s official.
Ive been talking to people who need to keep this date.
can we handle this?
if we stick to this date everyone needs to book immediately.
we’ ll have to use our heads on gas stops and eating. Ride with extra caution.
I’m also told bb&bbq will go back to September after this one.
any nay sayers or anyone just wishing to discuss please speak up.

Only that we get to have fun, socialize, and ride our bikes. But as far as a date, no. Just let me know if I need to change my accommodations. You know what it will be like better than I.

Karen and I are in the same boat as Brad. We've already reserved for our cabin for the 6th through the 10th. Last several years we've been eating (really well I might add!) at the campground in the mornings and evenings, so I wouldn't think that should be any issue. I do understand the concern about lunches out...and gas...but I would think we could probably work around a lot of it.
That being said, we'll do whatever works best for the rest. Just let us know if we need to change things.

Midnight the meet n greet is the weekend of October 14-16
some show up early some show up late. Usually about 4 days long.
bikes blues n bbq is the week before.
