I just link to FB where posting pics is easy and doesn't hurt the bandwidth of this site

I'm on Imgur and I just tried posting a pic using Doc V's instructions and I got nothing. If I go to imgur and copy my image and paste it in the text frame it works fine, so I don't do it very often.

thanks Doc, I don't see a little box that says that to uncheck on the https://postimages.org/ website. Don't suppose you have any idea where to find it?

Congratz Cike, glad you got it worked out, and the bike is looking good.

Just make sure anytime you post a photo on the site, YES specifically if it's hosted somewhere else, **uncheck** the little box that says:

"Retrieve remote file and reference locally".

Otherwise a copy of the image will be stored on the site's server and take up bandwidth.

    Thanks!

Actually, YES, it does... For various reasons that we can't change at the moment, thanks to the way vBulletin is designed, the default on the site is set to save a copy of EVERY image posted here, even ones hosted on other sites. In the window where you paste your images URL, you have to **uncheck** the little box that says, "Retrieve remote file and reference locally". This will prevent that from happening. Thanks.

Correct, it is pulling the pic from postimg not RSC.

And that doesn't use band width? Just wondering.

Nice! I like how it shows a nice large pic here and clicking takes you to the pic where you can click again to get a nice zoomed pic!
