  • My rigid Roadstar

    2004 1700 Roadstar engine. No middle drive, custom rigid frame by Cycle One Manufacturing.
    21" front wheel. 16 inch rear wheel with 200mm Avon Cobra tire.
    Gearing 17/45. Dynatec coils, Dynatec 3000 ignition. Oil tank by "Anything Goes".
    Le Pera 304L seat. Flanders #11 bars. Dime City Cycles speedometer. 3 gallon gas tank.
    Custom Dynamics "All in One license plate, and lights.
    Diamond chain." Short Shot" Exhausts by Vance & Hines.
    Headlight by Dime City Cycles. Jets by Jets R Us.
    GMA 4 piston calipers front and rear with stainless lines.
    DNA springer front forks 22 inches. Rake 34 degrees.

                Very nice bobber! I am building one similar! But the only thing I have been stumped on is what kind of speedometer you used? Did you find a electronic one that wired in or did you switch to mechanical? Or not using one at all haha

                  I have a Dime City Cycles speedometer. It has idiot lights included and is a 2240:60 ratio for my 21" front wheel with 2240:60 HD style speedometer drive on the front axle. No electronics.

                Was it easy to convert or install the speedometer sender on the front axle?

                  I did not use any Roadstar parts. No electronic senders.
                  I have a DNA springer front fork with Harley style parts.
                  3/4" front axle.
