  • Bertha

So I have been adding pictures to my introduction thread so I decided to start Berthas photo album. Just scored this Corbin Touring seat. Would have been better if it wasnt studded but I cant complain. Really starting to like this two up look on Bertha.

I want a batwing so bad haha how hard was it to fit with your apes. I know I have my windshield tilted as far ahead as it can go. I have my 18” apes tilted forward

14 apes but they are bagger bars. They have the extra bend in them to clear the wing but i did have to pull them back out to clear the wing.

Nice. I've been thinking about amber passing lamps for years. Just never got around it. Are they any more or less bright than stock?

Never had stock driving lights just turn signal w/ running lights. But they seem bright as f*^% in the garage.

A friend added some small LED lights on his BMW bike. One day when we went for a ride at one of our stops while we were talking he dug out some yellow caps that went on them. I noticed while riding later that when I looked in my mirrors he seemed more "visible". I don't know if I've become attuned to all the white lights on cars and such now...but that yellow/amber stood out to me.

I do know amber provides more high contrast from the driver's standpoint, that's why they're good for fog. As far as being seen, anything outside the usual spectrum tends to catch your eye. That's why police use blue light. Red carries the farthest, which is why they're used on brake lights and tail lights etc. and green travels second furthest, which is why it's used along with red on marine vessels and aircraft.

Night riding can be fun on back roads with out a bunch a traffic; just keep an eye out for deer atfter dusk. Where'd you guys end up going?

Looks good Shmo! I do like that rail around the passenger seat. Black bikes are the best! Lol

I thought the Bagger bars did not have that much wrist angle. Is the angle on your wrist about the same as stock? Where did you get yours?

I got my bars local. They are Khrome Werks 14”. The bend is less then stock. When I rolled my stock bars up, it put a good bend in my wrist. Thess are pretty comfortable. 12” would have been perfect but 14s look better.

Apes all depend on your height. I’m 6’2” or so and I have 18” Kong apes and they are very comfortable

Gave it a shot and reshaped my factory seat. Took. A lot of foam out. Reused the factory seat cover. Head to a superbowl party shortly for the test ride. Feels nice in the driveway!
