Just put Rvs treatment in the engine and gearbox. We'll see what it does.
Btw, has anybody Else tuned their roadies for performance? Maby not turbocharged, but big bore Kit, hi comp pistons etc? Just curious about the difference

Oh and I also ported the manifold. It pulls even better on high revs Nand on feels More smooth. When taking over a car on the road on 3rd at 80km/h speed, i'm at 140km/h when I get ahead and not even back at my own lane. The breathe feels so much better after porting and putting uch bigger air filter. Might just be my ass dyno thou

Turbos like to breath so anything to help that air flow will make a difference. Same with the exhaust. Unlike your typical carbureted motor you don't want *any* back pressure or restrictions. If you're running baffles in your exhaust try removing them. The impeller on the turbo reduces the decibels on it's own, so it won't be nearly as loud as your typical open exhaust, but your turbo will be happier.

Yeah I know this, and my exhaust is straight 3" stainless pipe all the way and I don't concider it loud. It's actually More silent than it was naturally aspired. I think i'll start putting my money on front end and comfort now that all the cheap power parts hav been installed after turboing the bike. The roadwing made such a big difference

Few pics from the bike. The first pic is near my cabin. Second one is from my late grandfathers homeplace we used To go when I was a Child. Felt like I'd been there yesterday, but actually it's been over 20 years... It's funny how the brain works. It lets you forget To bring Milk from the Store, but makes you feel and remember everything instantly after 20 years. R.I.P Grandpa!

ok so the latest news... My chinese regulator failed after about 3months, so i had to replace it. This time with 150e OEM part instead of 15e copy. The price difference can't come just from Finnish prices, there has to be a quality difference too.
One problem tho. The regulator coupler was ebay crap too with too small connectors for the wires to be pressed correctly. And of course you cant buy one in Finland, and ebay order takes 3-4weeks so i did the following.

I connected 15cm wires with good connectors straight to the regulator pins and filled the connector pin part with epoxy, so i never have to think about that idiotic coupler again. Then i connected the regulator to wires with proper connectors.
Then i went for a 400km ride to test and everything was ok until i got back. The drive belt (130k driven stock from factory i presume) snapped. No biggie, except for the fact that i barely have enough time to order it from ebay and save about 50-100e. So i have to order it locally, probably costing 300-400e. Good thing it happened now instead of Norway, and it should last for a lifetime after chaning it.

                    This is motorsport

While i'm at it, I decided To change the front brake lines To Steel ones. The brake feels like squeesing a rubberball. And I need To weld the turbo return correctly. Now it's with threads and it's leaking a bit. Also the front tire has worn out, especially on the other side so it needs To be changed

Ok so i'm heading To norway in couple of weeks. In two weeks i've replaced or updated rear shock, regulator, front brake lines, oils, rear brake pads, drive belt, inTake manifold, air filter, exhaust manifold brackets, intercooler brackets, turbo oil return line and oil cooler brackets. And next week i'll change both tires. So maby, and thats a big fu***ng maby this trip To norway Will be the first one without some kind of repair

Btw, the starting problem (sometimes won't go over tdc) is most likely beacause of the solenoid that ooens the valve. When the start won't go, the solenoid doesn't push steadily out but ticks instead. So maby the solenoid is bad or current for it s not steady time To time?

Before i replaced my starter....... I removed the decomp cover and bent the spoon a little closer to activate. But I also left the cover off and held the decomp open while cranking. Maybe this will work for you until you can repair. My problem was broken brushes in the stock starter.

Yeah I have already installed a repair Kit for the starter. I believe it could be the solenoid thats broken. And I also bent the spoon, but the problem is the accational ticking movement of the decomp solenoid.

Mark1 backrest. Feels very Good! Not the prettiest, but this bike isn't about bling. Mark2 won't have those in curve pipes.

I'd imagine with all that power it's nice to have something to keep you from falling off the back. Plus it makes backing up the bike much easier.

The stock seat grips ok so keeping on is easy, but on highway speeds thee wind does make me work a little To keep a comfortable position. Shorter trips are ok, but now that we go To norway tomorrow, I wan To be able To relax a bit.
