The Sasquatch is going for a new look, The Bobber look. Thinning her out and gonna try and go all black. Deleted the fenders and shortened the pipes. It sounds amazing but loud. Thoughts and ideas.

Only way to pull that bobber look off is to cut the seat "horns" off and make a springer seat. Otherwise the seat looks terrible. I think a shortened rear fender looks better than no fender. Shorter pipes are good.

Anybody here have pics of bobbers but with their original tank. I'm seriously considering not going with a smaller tank. I like to go on long rides and don't want to have to worry about filling up everytime I go for a ride...

I'm not usually a fan of bobbers, but I make an exception for Jinro 's. So cool looking. Not sure how you can pull off a thinned out look with the fat OEM tank. I agree with Lug Nut that short fender looks better than no fender, but that's just preference.

If you dish the tank old school, it will look a little longer and narrower but maintain a larger volume than changing the tank entirely. It's extremely easy to do with a rubber mallet. Get a two-sided rubber mallet and sharpen one end to a smaller surface area and just gradually pound it back and forth. The shape of the tank will dictate the dish that you end up with. Don't hit too hard or you will get wrinkles in the steel. Work it slowly. You can then either rest the dish areas with chlorine or Bondo them smooth.

Got ride of the front brake. Who needs brakes, lol!! Seat will hopefully come in this week and I will start chopping away.
