  • 2005 bobber

2005 Roadstar Midnight Silverado. Intake, exhaust, dyna 3000, no fenders, 3.2 peanut tank, cleaned up swing arm, cut stock hand controls. 150 front, 180 rear. Fun little chop.

Also have a 2004 Silverado dubbed the “Old Man Bike”. I’ll add more pics and info later.

Looks sinister! I'm starting to feel I need to upgrade to that 3.2 gallon tank.

I LOVE bobbers... only thing I'd add to that one would be to put something of a minimal rear fender on it. But, that's just me. If it's just the way you want it... then, of course, it's perfect!!!

And, now that I look at it a second time... I think I'll let my front fork tubes slip up the trees a bit, and lower my front end some....

Regulations won't let you ride here without fenders in Ontario Canada but they turn a blind eye to shortened fenders even though the reg. states that the way it came originally is really legal.

That turned out great. We need more than one pic! Is there a build-along somewhere? Where did you get the seat?

              Very nice!
Do you get a 'back stripe' when you ride it?

-twentyfivemike. The 3.2 really helps with less stops at the pump. The bike is so wide that it just looks at home perched up there.

-pudelpointer. I have more pics, I’ll get them up soon. I bought it already chopped and bobbed. A buddy of mine did the chop work (Texas Outlaw Cycles S.A., TX). I got rid of all controls on the bars and cleaned up the wiring. Seat was already mounted (its 13.5” L x 13” W). I’ve changed a lot since I’ve had it, but to be honest it already had the chop work foundation. I’ll also post some “day I bought it” and “current pics” to show what I’ve done.

Heres a picture of my 2004 I’ve been tinkering with. I want to keep this one somewhat sane...

-Bubbakahuma. Yeah, I’ve been caught in the rain. This thing spits a rooster tail from front tire to back tire directly down the center of the bike. I have to do the gangsta lean off to the side until I can find some cover to avoid being hit in the face. Also a few rocks and shards of god knows what up the back every now and again. Good times!

-Roadiemort. One end bolts to the frame uprights as in the pic. The other end sandwiches in between the frame and floorboards. I don’t know the brand or if they’re stock. They were on it when I picked it up.
