Ordered CNC plasma table

So as some of you may remember I started my own business. I ordered a CNC plasma table from langmuir systems. Really excited to get it set up and cutting. Got in on a preproduction deal. Anyway I should be up and cutting sometime May or June. I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in rsc plaques of varying sizes for their garage. Also was wondering about anyone wanting floorboard relocation brackets. Was planning on making them available in painted, unpainted, stainless and aluminum. All feedback and other ideas welcome.

sounds awesome, I wish you the best of luck. I'll have to look up CNC plasma cutter to get a better idea of what you got. I'm a machinist by trade, but have never actually seen a plasma cutter.

I know Im gonna sound stupid but what do the relocation brackets do for the floor boards? The problem I have is the dang rear brake pedal could be a hair longer or smaller so I dont have to put my foot at a angle to clear.

If you look in the body and frame section and search floorboards your should be able to find some pictures I posted a while back of this modification. This won't do anything to address the issue you have with the brake pedal.

You need to remove brake pedal pad, cut brake pedal in half and install the round brake pedal available on Amazon. Father poor bastard has a pic. It made my size 13s fit on the boards way better!

This company is selling the cnc components & table, Looks like you buy the portable hand held plasma cutting machine to make it a complete package, so depending on what strength plasma cutter you buy determines the thickness of your cut capabilities.

You can virtually use any plasma cutter. To you are not locked in to using the cheap one they sell. I am going to get a hypertherm xp45 to start with. It has a lot of capabilities in a small package.

I've looked at this company and others and I'm just trying to fine tune my pitch to the wife on why I NEED to have one of these! LOL Super Cool and I already have the Plasma Cutter.

Langmuir systems has drastically reduced the price of admission into CNC plasma cutting. Other companies have as well. The price of their machines and what you get could easily be spent on a plasma cutter alone. With the deal I got from them included software for design and langmuir systems own software ( not third party software) for generating g-code called fire control. Everything thing I have seen so far in their forum leads me to believe that they have excellent product support/customer support and are trying to lead they way in simplifying CNC cutting. I am excited to learn more about this. I have been watching instructional videos on YouTube and trying to get a handle on fusion 360. Langmuir hasn't released and tutorial videos yet on their new fire control software but it supposedly is going to be very user friendly.

Can you make a 3 dimensional partofnjust cut a 2 dimensional piece?

Yes fusion has a feature that will allow you take a 3d sheet metal image and essentially unfold it and turn it into a 2d part. Supposedly I could even etch in the brake lines where it would be bent. The sheet metal program on fusion is incredibly powerful software (so much to learn) glad there are good tutorials on YouTube.
