This is a carry-over from the old site, but I wasn't sure how many are still checking it, so I thought I'd post it here as well...
I just wanted to say a heartfelt THANK YOU and give you all an update. I'd hoped to notify everyone sooner however I only found out just today that my mother only had stage 2 cancer and therefore will be just fine. She's recovering very well and doing nicely; better than before she went in even.
Unfortunately, there was some complication with the pathologist report and it took considerably longer to get a final answer than we had originally hoped. I wont lie, it was extremely stressful because they had given us a bit of a run-around and I didn't want to say anything until I knew for sure...
Again, my mother [and I] are extremely touched by the generosity of all your prayers and well wishes. It really did help and means a lot to my mother, myself, and my family!
