Me too, Ford 170 inline 6 in a 1962 Econoline.
Found a busted off chunk of the engine block under one of the corner headbolts.
Cleaned it up really good with acetone & slapped on a nice big glob of JB Weld.
Let it dry a couple days, drilled & tapped it & put the head on.
Worked fine for about a year & a half, then I sold it.

I can't begin to count the things I have fixed with JB Weld. Fixed a cracked block on a Pinto with it once.

That was truly helpful! Forget the duct tape and bailing wire in the saddle bag... I'm packin' JB Weld!!!

Hey, Let's all suggest a competition between JB Weld and Loctite Red on our front drive pulley nuts without a bendable washer to help hold them in place?!?!?!?

I would have liked to see how long the engine would run with the head bolts in and properly tq'd. I did like the IN LB Tq wrench adapter he had.

My money was on JB Weld before I even watched it.

    That stuff is that good.

We've all used one or more of these products at some point, and if you ever wondered which was best, wonder no more. Some of you may already know the answer, but I was definitely surprised at how some of the products faired in certain tests. Well worth the watch.

P.S. At the end, there are links to other interesting products tests done by the same guy, including several for Seafoam.
