I am going back to work today after a knee replacement. It's not the same thing but so far it's better than it was. I understand that the hip replacement is "easier" I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Well wishes for a speedy recovery. As mentioned, make sure to follow the Dr and rehab folks direction. It will really make a difference in the outcome of the procedure.

My brother did that last year. They did the face-down procedure. He was on his feet next day and fully recovered in a few weeks. He wished he had done it sooner.

Did my left one almost 3 years ago, could not ride my bike so it was time. Best thing I ever did, 100% now!

LET THEM BEAT U UP AT rehab, thats how you get better more quickerer. i have same hip done twice, they said metal on metal was great, wrong. and a knee, i was back surfing as in 8 wks after 1st, 10 weeks after same hip 2nd time. but we dont have great whites

Sure am and going well, not fully recovered yet as not much strength in my leg I did look at my bike the other day so getting ready to ride

Out of hospital now and 2 weeks passed, sure feels better now, still have some time to heal, they done a spinal block for surgery and glued it back together instead of stiches
