Ok I've seen this a few times on here now. Tykes has it and Spydr has it too. Under their names it has a digital gauge looking bar . All of us have them but theirs are partially lit up. What are they? Lol

I'm going to guess it's a "number of posts" bar. No idea what each 'bar' stands for.

That's a reputation bar. Users get points when their posts get "Like" clicks. The amount of points awarded depends on who liked the post. You can choose to show or hide your reputation in your account settings.

You build you rep awarding power various ways. 1 point for each year on the board. 1 point for every 1000 posts you've made. 1 point for every 100 points on your own reputation score. So if you've been registered for 2 years, made 2000 posts, and have 200 rep points of your own, then every time you Like a post the person that made that post gets 6 points added to their rep score. You also need to have 50 rep points before your Like clicks can award rep points to someone else.

The default bar maxes out at 600 rep points with 2 pips showing per 100 points. So until you have 100 rep points the bar won't show anything. Somehow Spyder and Chico got a lot of points awarded. I think they got some post likes while we were configuring the system.
Some forums have customized the bar so that it goes through cycles. Maybe Red then Yellow then Green, effectively tripling the bar to 1800 points. But I don't think we can do that on this cloud hosted version.

The reputation points also control the rep title under the user names. We have defaults right now. Here are those with the rep level needed to get that title. But I think we can come up with come R* or biker relevant titles.

0 - User is an unknown quantity at this point
10 - User is on a distinguished road
50 - User will become famous soon enough
250 - User has a spectacular aura about
500 - User is a jewel in the rough
1000 - User is just really nice
2000 - User is a glorious beacon of light
3000 - User is a name known to all
4000 - User is a splendid one to behold
5000 - User has much to be proud of
7500 - User has a brilliant future
10000 - User has transcended reality
