From Northern Nevada, and YOU DON'T NEED AN AFTER MARKET FUEL PROCESSOR, my 08 with Cobra Long's and Big Air Kit ran like crap with one.

Just bought a 13 with Cobras & a BAK already on it. It also has a power commander installed. Haven't ridden it yet due to weather & waiting for tags, etc.. I'll definitely remember this post though.

From a wide spot in the road in Oregon! Sounds like you have already benefitted from knowledge on this site and saved $$$ to boot. Continue to keep an open mind. You will be surprised how far some will go to help.

Thanks, Zman. I can't wait till I can start putting the exhaust on this weekend. I need to find a local who can weld a couple of bungs on it for me. Thankfully, the Road Burner exhaust has a location ready for the o2 sensors....NICE!

Great buy on the pipes. "Father Pobastard is right about the pipe and the bungs. Your bike is fuel injected so there is an O2 sensor in each one of the exhaust pipes. If the pipes you bought don't have bungs for the O2 sensors, you will have to either get the bungs welded in the proper locations or, if you can't locate the bungs, you will have to remove one of the O2 sensors and go to the hardware store and find the thickest nuts you can find that will thread onto the O2 sensor that can be welded onto the the exhaust pipes instead of bungs.. The thing you want is for the tip of the sensor to only extend into the pipes no more than 1/8". The thread size needed is 10mm but I can't remember the pitch.
I don't know if this is recommended procedure or not but when i got my bike ('12 Fuelie) it had electronic resistors installed in the wiring connector for the O2 sensors in lieu of being connected to the O2 sensors. The PO said he hadn't changed anything on the bike and he'd had if for for years. So i guess it's possible to operate a Fuelie without O2 sensors, just don't know what the effects are to the engine? Maybe someone else can chime in on this?

So, I have discovered that I can get some O2 DELETE sensors or some shit like that from EBAY. There are sold in the U.K., Anybody have any input on these puppies?

As many have said already, don’t delete the O2 sensors......use them.......plug them in! It will run great.....run like shit without them!

Shores, i WILL DO. NOW, another question. Because of the altitude that I live in, some locals have dismissed the Afteramrket fuel ECU. ....Most people around here swear by them....Does anybody else live around 5,200 ft. above sea level?
                Thanks YA';LL!

Altitude (within reason) doesn’t matter. Run the stock ECU with the sensors plugged in. “Don’t think too much....you’ll hurt the team.”

Fair enough. Now. I am a little apprehensive of working on this Silverado, because it's like a Cadillac,...any resources for an OEM REPAIR MANUAL...just for reference?

Hey everyone. Update. I am having a buddy of mine who works at a machine shop fabricate some threads for my new handlebars...(the ones I bought from No School Choppers)..So excited.
I did however break the little tab on the Right switch housing that plugs rest in the handle bars...Should I just drill it out and put a screw through it to keep it stabilized?

Also, can anybody send me a SERVICE MANUAL for this bike? 2008 Roadstar?

So, first update on the build.
Here are the new handlebars that I bought from No School Choppers. I had a buddy of mine custom fab some threaded inserts so that I could use the original hand grips and bar end weights.
It snowed the day after I installed them, so I have yet to take it for a serious spin.

                          Thoughts?

I had my painter fill in the unused holes in my fender and repainted since I went to a solo setup and removed factory brake lights aND turn signal bar. Looks MUCH better

Can you share some pictures? Im curious about how I am going to shave the lights, and incorporate the turn signals.
