Hi all. My name is Duane. I started riding dirt bikes when I was 8. Graduated to a 1981 Honda 400 at age 16. I also owned a Sportster and Triumph for a bit. Got married in 1992 and sold my bike and bought a car to be a family man. A couple of years ago our "baby" went of to college at WVU and the wife brought up how much we loved to ride before we got married. Next thing I knew I was sorting through loads of information about different bikes and eventually settled on wanting a Roadstar. We went and looked at a few and for one reason or another we passed on them. Then I ran across an ad on Facebook. The lady that placed the ad said it was her brother's bike and he was firm on the price. I inquired about it and made arrangements to go see it. As soon as he rolled it out of the building I fell in love and one look at my wife told me that she felt the same way. It was literally babied, right down to being stored in a climate-controlled garage. After a quick test ride money changed hands and home she came.
The ride....2006 Roadstar 1700. Only had 3700 miles on it when I bought it three years ago. Mostly stock except for Viking bags and some running lights. I have 4-up 2-back risers and a set of Cobra exhaust pipes waiting to be put on.
