Tires

Update: I just went with the Shinko 777H or the rear since it had a new 777 on the front. I have to admit, I like it. I know it's a softer tire but smooth and handling is good. I have Dunlops and Avon on my other bikes for the look alone. They do not ride no where near like these.

I just got back from an oil change at the local shop. Ed, the mechanic said that he was looking at my tires and the rear will need to be changed soon. I asked for an estimate of mileage left and he said maybe 2000 more miles if I were fortunate. I went ahead and ordered another Shinko 777 rear tire and got the one with the reflective stripe. I just put that last tire on in July last year and they have about 15,000 miles clocked on them. I like the Shinko tires!

I have used a taxi tire on several RSs rear with good performance and 25,000 miles of tread life.

I used to get an Austone in that size, but they aren't available any more that I can find.
