So, I was a member of RSC years ago, but sold my 03 roadie for a street glide. Though it was an upgrade but turned out to be a real pain in the back. A street glide was not as comfortable as the roadie. Don't get me wrong, I loved the glide and was tired of carbureted bikes. But I couldn't ride it for longer than an hour before 20 years of auto mechanic life reared its ugly head in my lower back. Ended up selling the glide to finance a Mac Tools franchise. After getting established, I wanted another bike. I was looking for a softail when I came upon Angel. A white 2012 roadie with fuel injection. 6500 miles. One owner. No damaged. Well maintained. And (are you ready to be jealous?) $4500, down from $7000 on Facebook marketplace. I call her Angel for a few reasons. Female owned, her name was Angela, she's white, like an angel, she flies like an angel, and the best passenger I've ever had was named Angelina. Lol. I'm thinking it's a good sign that this was meant to be because even in this coronavisus world we live in, it took 20 minutes of total time to get her into my name. 10 minutes at the title place and 10 minutes at the BMV.
Now, Angela kept Angel stock since new, but she needs a little noise, and a lot less catalyst caused heat. I know I'm going to be replacing the air filter with a Baron's kit like my 03. She will definitely be getting speakers. But, I'm having issues finding a good, inexpensive exhaust system (with O2 bungs) and 3.5 or 4 inch mufflers. Most of my issues are related to the actual information provided for the bung locations and finding info on RSC related directly to EFI and not Carb bikes. If anyone has a few good links to tech articles related to EFI bikes, that would be awesome of you. Thanks in advance.
