  • Working on the bike

When I'm out in the garage working on the bike, I seem to lose track of time really easy. Does this happen to anyone else? I don't have to be knee deep in something, it could be as simple as checking the air pressure in the tires, and the next thing I know, suns down, outside lights are on, and for some reason, I'm hungry.

Let's just say that I've seen the other side of 2am more than a few times. I get in the zone, music blaring, and time flies by.

I lose long periods of time too
I sense a trend here. Perhaps our bikes have some sort of hypnosis module built in

I've found myself 'just going to do this one thing'.
Next thing I know I'm telling myself 'Oh crap, I have to get up for work in the morning!"

Remember when Warden went to change his oil and ended up taking the whole bike apart and painting it. It happens

Whew! I'm glad I'm not the only one!. I would say that it could maybe be something with the bike but it happens to me sometimes with whatever I'm working on. Car, bike, some wacked out R/C project, (I used to race R/C cars)

Pretty much anything with wheels on it. Carpet oval and on-road 1/10 and 1/12th, 1/10th off road, touring, Off-road 1/8 buggy both gas and electric. Last things I have are a 1/12thscale pan car, a T3 off-road truck to bash with, and 2 boats for the lake down the street. A Victor V32, and a model of the "Minnow" I built from plans. Next up is a model of the "Orca" from "Jaws". Most of the classes I ran were in stock.

Nice! 1/8th that must be fun. I've haven't tried any boats yet. I've got all Traxxas 1/10 vehicles. Revo 3.3, E-Revo, 4x4 Slash, Rustler, 3 Stampedes. Oh and one Losi 1/18 scale? For in the house.

So you say you are hungry? Anything else you might be doing out in the garage? Something involving a light bubbling sound and a lighter?
