One of a kind? I have seen enough Road Stars molested in this fashion to make me puke. However, since we have several members here with similar bikes, I should say, To each his own. I can appreciate the money / time / effort that goes into doing this, just not my thing.

The exhaust system looks good. Can anyone guess the brand?

FWIW, Jimmy, I've had a couple of the V&H Pro-Pipes, and they're not trouble-free. They tend to have cracking baffle issues. The sound is only okay, not great. I think you can feel a power boost though. I took them off and sold them some years back.

As for that bobber... careful study shows that the builder did put a lot of time, effort, and maybe money, into it. But, the appearance still leaves something to be desired. And, having the rear suspension set-up we do with an R*, I'd never want to bolt or weld on a hardtail. We already get that appearance.. and a suspension.

I had a Propipe too. Same exact comments as Questcap above. Power is great but thats the only thing about it. Should of gone with duals right from stock. Could not change muffler cause it was an odd size header pipe diameter. Seems Blueverclear and had to weld or fab something. I think maybe he was running the Cobra version of the 2 in 1.

Thanks Questcap, for the V&H pro-pipe info! I have the V&H PowerShot exhaust, they sound great / power, they have some blemishes in the chrome after 13 years.

I'm with you! I'm a bobber fan, but this particular bobber leaves something to be desired.

Doesn’t look like a weld on rigid rear to me. Looks like the stock swingarm. Likely just has a rigid bar to replace the shock.

I don't know... That's some pretty serious modding of some nature under the seat that made me think some kind of hardtail was attached. He may have just kept cutting away stuff off the stock frame to make it look like that. Went well beyond merely removing the horns, if that's what he did.

My thoughts as well. Wonder why he left the passenger pegs on? Not like someone's going to rid atop that fender......
