Trailer Hitch

Is there such a thing as a premade trailer hitch for Roadstars? Was thinking of a small trailer for the bike but not all that great with the welder,,,,

Ironman had some plans on the old site for a hitch that integrated into the fender subframe. There are other options that have brackets outside the fender that mount to the bolt holes for the saddlebags. In my case I have RSV bags. Those have their own frame and you can replace the rear crossbar with a piece that has the receiver built into it. That's what I plan on doing.

Purple is subframe, red is gussets, green is arms, and yellow is crosspiece and receiver. All of this stays inside the fender and without the hitch you can't see any of it. The hitch goes up into the receiver.

And then Curt's gussets on a subframe for extra strength. Highly recommended.

HitchDoc makes a nice one. they are a little pricey new, but it is not too hard to come by them used for a reasonable price.

I was searching kijijii all of ontario and stumbled upon a roadstar hitch in st Catherine’s Ontario Canada. Don’t know how to post a link but it was just online 10 min ago. Good luck on your quest.
