    What are these plugs saying to you? The white one came out of the front right.

    Could be the picture but the far left one looks wet slightly. The white one looks lean slightly.

      What do you do to correct one lean plug?

        I've never heard anybody talking about adjusting the timing on these bikes. At one time I had a Honda Areo Shadow 750. There was a mod that some did to advance the timing. Never really understood what the benefit was? I know got a little off topic on my own thread

          In general, those plugs look ok, the left one does look like it could be a little wet. It's hard to judge by a picture. You can't do much if 1 plug looks a little lean, with a single carb feeding 2 cylinders, it's hard to get perfect fuel distribution.

            That plugs not wet. Just the pic. They were in the vice for a couple of days before I took the pic.

              those plugs look ok to me, you will always get a slight difference with one carb feeding front and rear cylinders, as mentioned above, always judge by the front one as this is usualy leaner, but yours look ok
              Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before i can think straight

                  Generally, they look OK, if not a little lean. Every plug will have a clean side because the intake fuel washes it. The dirty side and the color on the ceramic that is higher in the plug body tells us what’s up. Overall they are tan, which is good, but could be slightly darker. Dang cameras don’t catch everything. If it’s running right I wouldn’t mess with anything. The wet plug could be a shadow.

                      It’s your thread. You can do what you want. Lol
                      The only way to tweak the timing on these bikes is to change out the ignitor for a Dyna 3000, and then use the dip switches.

                      But,....... the best settings for a more or less stock Roadie, is more or less a stock setting. The only reason anybody ever changes, is when they do major internal work, like cams and pistons etc.
