I wasn’t going to. Thats why i posted it here. But now I’m thinking i might. I got enough parts here to make it complete. Just not sure i need another bike

a 20-year-old metric bike with their salvage title is not worth a penny. Only if you needed the motor or wanted parts off of it. If you bought it and then put any money into it and then tried to sell it you have a 20 plus year old metric bike with the salvage title. Virtually worthless as far as all an entire bike. As long as you understand that going into it no problem. Some states will not ensure a salvage title motorcycle for much of anything either. I've seen the other bikes for sale in the same price range with valid titles.

Depends on why it was salvaged. Sometimes they're stolen and stripped and the insurance company still totals them. Hence, a salvage title.

Looks like it would make a great bobber candidate.

6.5 hours from me. Maybe I'll ride down and... No, wait. If I ride down then MikeyC will have to ride it back, and then how will HE get home? Guess the Mrs. will have to ride the trike up with us and haul Mikey back down south on the trike.

If you could get it for $1,000 it seems like you could easily double your money by reselling the tens the tank the engine the forks etc. Mike you don't need any more non-running motorcycles!

Yup. Parts alone. But if I got it I would definitely go full-bobber on it for an occasional diversion on local outings.

I'd buy it for 500 and part it out...Hate to spend a bunch of time effort and a little bit of money on it to try to sell it and then have no one be interested in it because of the salvage title. But for parts it would be ideal. But I see bikes around me for 1500 with clean titles so I wouldn't be interested in a salvage title bike for much over 500
