It has to suck for him extra bad though. He has his own hot rod shop and probably 500 vehicles to choose from to drive every single day and if he wants to he can drive all day for the rest of his life and never have to work or do anything else ever again. That's a pretty hard give up. We all have jobs or other obligations and so when we get to ride it's fun. He gets to go out in his shop and pick any car or buy key once and take it out and have fun all the time. I would hate to give that up.

I am 78 guys and still ride and wrench. Retired from flying Ag Planes my entire adult life. I started riding at 12 on old dirt bikes. My first big bike at 15 was a 46 Indian. Only spent a few years in the late 60's with out a bike, other obligations. I have rode all kinds some you guys may have never heard of such as the AJ Matchless. Had a English made Indian in 64. I will ride until I get to the point I feel unsafe and then quit..I still fly a friends Stearman on occasion but only to haul his ass around. he is unable to fly anymore. .What happened to Leno could happen to anyone regardless of age..I bought this 13 years ago and gave it to my son for his B Day. It looks a lot better than it did when I gave it to him.

Have you guys seen his jet bike? Motor came out of a helicopter. 350 HP, 475 lbs. of torque.

I've seen random parking lots wired-off in how he describes, often no discernable difference from one lot to the next, just some guy wanting to keep people out of his private lot, sometimes aside an unused building. Asphalt to asphalt. I can see where it would be easy to miss, especially not expecting something like that going from lot to lot between roads.

I still haven't heard how the fire started on the car that burnt him, or any of those details. I do record 'Jay Leno's Garage' so expect it may come up in the next season. It's like he says on the show, 'he gets paid for having fun!'
