I'm back with a new to me star

Hi guys, What's up? Been gone from here for about 3 years. Although I do pop in from time to time just to look. Sold my last star about 3 years ago when I got my Indian. I still have the Indian (and goldwing, CRF450RL) But I missed messing with these bikes. So, last week I picked up a 1999 to play with. Think i'm going kinda retro themed on it. Looking for a hard-to-find seat rail if anyone has one. I also get on the FB Road star pages from time to time. Looking forward to having this thing on the road next summer.

last summer I was power washing it and blew 2 chunks of paint off the fairing about the size of a silver dollar. So, I have it out being repainted. My bike is a 2014 (the first year they went back into production) Some of them had a paint issue in the beginning. Mine was number 1368 made. Here's a better pic of it.

I sold my 2008 RS about 3 years ago also when I picked up my 2016 Indian Roadmaster. I have been eyeballing another RS for a while now. I miss them too. Hopefully have one soon.

getting it repainted. Last summer I was power washing it and blew off 2 silver dollar size chunks of paint. (paint was an issue on the 2014 models)
