well i found out this is apparently the cadillac of sidecars, the california sidecar friendship II SE. it has a huge hinged tub with a wide chair, tons of shoulder and legroom, trunk big enuf for like 10 10 lb bags of potatoes, electric lean control(was not hooked up), brembo disc brake. i had to put all new rubber, fluids, rebuild slave cyl, new tank off ebay, fenders rattle canned to match. pads, risers, seats+speedo for 210$, wire it properly, align it. and off i went. I gotta say, its more fun then a barrel of monkees, with my thumb control for lean to match road tilt, its a dream. it doesnt have raked trees , so its a little effort to steer. but after driving for 8 days straight, i am selling my trike. the cool factor is off the chart. the wheel lead is a bit long, and i need a quieter exhaust, but its too much fun. its great in mild terrain, and in the dirt its like power steering, im keeping this until i can find a better one, but thats unlikely, pics to follow. today im replacing the tub vibration bushings which aged and cracked .

That's great news, I was hoping you would like it. We need more sidecar riders in the world. Now I just gotta get myself back on one.
