I know some guys had some difficulty installing a setup from a guy from the old rsc. How different is Ryans? I am a big fan of the RG fairing.

Ryan's bracket is a direct bolt on. No Fab needed.

                  Parts you'll need for install:
                  1. Inner and outer fairing. This can usually be found on eBay as a set for $2-300
                  2. Radio caddy. This will attach to the inside of the inner fairing and bolt onto my bracket. This will allow you to mount a radio and also serve as a base plate for mounting additional accessories like and amp, fuse block, etc.
                  3. Headlight assembly and bezel. Pretty self explanatory.
                  4. A secondary mount of your choice. My bracket sets the distance and angle for correct clearance with the forks and tank. But the fairing is made of plastic and will still flex on the edges. You'll want to stabilize it to keep it from flexing and eventually cracking. My recommendation is either use the crash bar/turn signal mounts the like the lower rear corners to the crash bar, or use ghost brackets the link it back to the neck of the bike. Chico Malo made his own ghost brackets pretty easily, he might be able to turn out a set for you too. I DO NOT recommend the the Trask hidden mounts.
                  5. Windshield of your choice.
                  6. Stereo, speakers, and gauge fillers of your choice.

Keep an eye on all the HD parts pages and you can usually come across a lot of these parts for dirt cheap. You should be able to get into the whole assembly for $5-600 or maybe less, plus paint and however crazy you want to get with audio.
