MICHELIN C3's any body got a hi milage review yet?

Michelin Commander C3's, any body have them for over 8 or 10 K miles yet, chime in on your EXPERIENCE with them re wear and handling/issues. were trying to compare them to the Michelin C2s for longevity. Please save the SHINKOS for another thread, yes, SHINKOS ARe great soft tires in rain that turn grey and wear out fast. im gonna post at real RSC too.

i have about 11,000 miles up front. its got about 2mm till the wear bar is flush according to this dunlop trade show thread depth tool. the rear has got the dunlop elite 4, they have just over 2mm before the wear indicator. they were what the dealer had on hand when i resurrected my bike. at what point do i order replacements? i was at one cycle gear and they had one the rack. i didnt look for other makes at that store.

i havent been in a downpour with them. i didnt experience or just too noob to recognize any problems i saw reported about the front tires on other sites. about two thirds of it was at interstate speeds trying to dial in carb for that 40mpg. the remaining was tagging along with a group from one of my work sites. they got me home without any odd behaviors.

i doubt mismatched tires are the reason i havent achieved 40 mpg. mismatched tires hasnt caused the bike to disintegrate yet. bike is currently sidelined for the linby flat bar bracket thing.

I have commander 3s that I've been running for 2 years and about 10k miles. They still have life left. I'll get through this season and next I imagine. I'll get another set.
