Keeping my 2008 fuel injected bike for my long-distance bike I think. Just sold my 2000 purple Turing bike. Got killer money out of it but sad to see it go.

It had pretty much everything you can do. I'm kind of eyeing the 2021 transcontinental Venture right now. Seen if anyone has any deeply discounted yet or if I have to wait.

I don't know anything about the Transcontinental Venture. I have a brother who rides a Star Eluder, I tried to sit on it, but it would hurt my hips. I liked the way the Eluder looks and the way it is set up but not being able to ride it would be a deal breaker for me. I hope you find what you are looking for.

I was reasonably ok with the TC Venture, when I did a test ride on it. Liked the Indian dark horse a lot better but they are serious money.

The venture needs more power and snap off the line. I haven't kept up with them since they came out, so power options might be out there. I'm pondering getting a used Royal Star since I have seen quite a few under $5k with pretty low miles. I really need to ride one.

I suggest looking on Craigslist for a TC Venture and do searches around you, at whatever radius you are willing to travel to. I bet there are dealers that have them that want them gone since they seemed to not sella lot of them.
