Is there an issue getting Yuasa Batteries? I've been trying to find a Yuasa YTX20L-BS battery for my bike near SC and I'm getting out of stock. Has anyone used the Xtreme AGM Battery from Batteries Plus?

A lot of bad reviews from Amazon! That's why I was trying to get one local. How about the Xtreme one any thought on that one.

I couldn’t find a Yuasa battery so I bought the Duracell battery from Batteries Plus about a year ago. 310 cca, 24 month free replacement warranty, factory filled and charged, in stock, reasonably priced, 10% discount for buying online and local pick up. So far it has been a good battery.

We have a crapton of Yuasa batteries on Backorder at our dealership. If stores don't have them look for the YTX20HL-BS-PW The pw just comes with a plastic riser plate which you can just toss out.

Yes, and you should use a full battery charger and not a simple trickle charger like a battery tender.

I took your advice and bought the same battery that was in the bike for the last four years. Yuasa YTX20L-BS from Ebay for $86 shipped. Best deal I could find. There on back order near me!
Will go buy a full battery charger. Do you have any suggestions on a good one that won't break the bank?

I don't have a specific recommendation. The one I have I think is an old Sears charger that has an option for one amp or 4 amp charging. I usually put it on 1 amp. Once the battery is charged and I just use my battery tender. I would just go to NAPA, AutoZone or O'Reilly Auto parts and see what they've got that's inexpensive.

Most Glass Mat batteries ship with seperate acid container which you fill when you get the battery, you fill and let sit double the recommended time before charging, any smart charger of 6 amps is recommended.

With the Yuasa batteries the BS at the end of the Part # means it comes with an acid pack. If you just got a YTX20L it would be factory activated. I go for for the 20HL models. Higher output. 10 more cranking amps.

Yes it also has a -BS at the end which means it comes with the acid pack.
