Clutch slipping and updated oil pump gear

Okay new to me trike 1600 2000 year seems like the clutch is slipping at the upper end, weird because when it's cold if I let off on the gas the rear wheels will chirp when they slow down . This is the one I replaced the lifters and I put in the red gooey stuff and the extra zinc, but have since done an oil change. I did get a hold of an updated oil pump drive gear and I see that that's right under the clutch correct? So what do I do take it apart inspect and then order parts. I'm guessing I need a new gasket. I also was going through my crap and I found a brand new 1600 intake, I guess I should Port that with the Dremel. The last time I did that was like a long time ago and I used some kind of sealant on the o-rings, the clymers just says to use Grease. . I haven't done a clutch since 1970 something. Also I got all the stuff I need to do the oil pressure gauge on the left hand side I got the liquid filled gauge I have the why shaped oil line and stainless steel compression fitting. I still use the oil supply Port on the bottom left hand side of the motor behind the shifter?
