Just got done doing compete clutch assembly with EBC spring, oil and filter, transfer case oil, spark plugs, cleaned IAC, brake fluid and EBC HH pads, passed flop check, wheel bearings steering head bearing and swing arm bearings check out good, belt alignment checked and tension adjusted, came with year old Avon Cobra Chrome tires and new battery with tender hookup
Removed backrest, windshield, got bag rails for hard leather bags (will install bags after cleaning/polishing), removed stock seats... Going for fast solo bagger type ride....
Only test rode for 10 min with broken clutch So I can't tell much.. But it handles nicer and is longed/wider feeling yet more nimble. Should be fast as hell... Stock they are 100 hp/124 torque at the motor.. This should be a little over 100hp to the tire and lots of torque with all the mods and don't weigh more than a Road Star.
Snow/ice here now and next week Temps in teens/twenties so that sucks.
Putting DC chopper brackets on my purple Road Star and having bags and tour pack repainted (color was a little off)
Trimming inner fender brace and putting lowering kit back on white bike to get it looking correct (180 tire just a little snug)
Maybe doing a 40 shot on Vmax... Maybe..
