Ok i went over what you said and the brackets do get used on top then i just need to see where bottom hits my bag bracket . I can weld something there to reinforce my bag bracket, be it a threaded bung or even just a shallow spacer and just bolt through it. I have access to wire feed with stargon gas so no problem doing the welding

are these the ones your saying i can get to fit, if im understanding you correctly the separate brackets would not be used in my application, is 45.00 a good price?

Back in the day fellas would bolt on the top as they fit then lineup the guard where it intersects the lower bag bracket bar and just drill a hole to bolt through, looks good but not as strong as welding in a bung with a drilled hole.

Can tour classic rear guards be modified to used with silverado leather bags, i want to get some tip over protection and because i had to get rid of the big engine guard using the oem lower deflectors there's no protection up front so im trying to figure the best way to get some protection in case the bike falls over, anyone got pictures and ideas ? Even a lindby bar looks like it would hit the deflectors
