Anyone figured out how to hang a helmet, that uses speed clips, on your R*?

I often carrie my full face helmet, on the under the seat holder, when I ride around town. For example, say I take a ride to Santa Cruz, when I get there, I'll remove the full face, hang it, and use the half helmet to cruise around town. Especially on hot sunny days. That works fine for helmets that have D rings, but I have a new helmet with a speed clip/quick release, and haven't figured out how to hang it while I ride. Does anyone know of an adapter that works with the speed clip or know of some other way to hang them?

Contact the mfger of your new helmet and see if you can buy just the buckle and make your own adapter. Or....sneak in the store and cut one off a new helmet!

It's not an adapter, the helmet only has the speed clip.

I was hoping someone made something like an adapter, with a male clip on one end for the helmet, and D ring on the other.The clips look to me to be the same as on ski boots, it shouldn't be difficult or expensive. But I guess that just makes too much damn sense. In the mean time I found this last night. It looks like it should work.
