"STARTING" to have a problem?

do the seafoam dose. I think I might even do a heavy dose.

The kazoo thing has happened before and temps right now in mid 70s. Not confident messing with the carb.

I think I would start with a good dose of fuel system cleaner like Seafoam or Barrymans B12. Maybe try turning the PMS out about 1/4 turn if the temps are low where you are at. If that don't work you will have to pull the pilot jet and give it a cleaning. As far as the Kazoo thing was it just the starter making noise when you shut it off? If so that is normal and will happen every now and then.

So I have a 2005 roadie with upgraded battery cables, battery is about 2 years old, and have not used a meter on it, and not sure if a problem is starting to show up. Went for a ride yesterday for about 45 minutes after not riding for a few weeks due to being rear ended in our truck and my wife having some whiplash. Rode today for about 30 minutes to a cemetery. Shut the bike off for maybe 10 minutes and when I did it sounded like a kazoo. Went to restart and didn't want to. Had to pull the choke out. Rode 2 minutes and shut the bike off. About 10 minutes later went to fire it up, it won't. Had to pull the choke out to get it to fire. Is my battery going? Is the charging system going? Bike has 15k miles on it. I know some will say time or should buy an FI model. Riding season here in the great state of Pa, lol, is just about over but should I be concerned? I am aware of carb puke as well. Any help or info is appreciated.
