Okay I just bought a champion trike on a 2000 1600 hundred road Star. 4500 bucks. Wow huh. It has straight rear axle dual outboard brakes raked front end. Nice mag wheels. looks like it has a pair of Monroe coil over adjustable shocks in there motorcycle style that you adjust the shoulders for the height and the stiffness. It runs down the road pretty good, needs a car rebuild stinks like old gas. I would like to get some info on the champion conversion kit if anybody has any paper or pdf. Like what the proper air pressures are the proper tires.. like an owner's manual or something, I guess the company is out of business now. And what kind of tire do I want to put on the front of it it has tires from 09. The rear tires look fine they look like car tires but they're made by dunlop. Literally was sitting in a Georgia Barn with dirt and dust all over it, but it runs and I can drive it down the street. I'm going to have to tweak the carburetor but I can do that sleeping. The 1600 do I use the stock needle or I get the barons kit. Can I install this trike kit on my 1700. It looks to be a really long ass belt, and the pulley looks different rear pulley. I thought they just used the stock pulley. I know the 16 and 17 have different belts and pulleys. It would probably be easier just to put on the higher output stator and rectifier. It looked pretty nice when I cleaned it .

Yeah I knew it was a deal . The guy was anxious to sell it. She'll need the ordinary TLC. I was surprised to see the AIS pipes still on it. I wish my wife would aree with you guys. I know what the components cost going into it . I drove a half a day there and a half a day back. What kind of air pressure do I put in the front tire? It has fuel stains in silver engine block. That's anodized aluminum right so what do I clean it with.

For a trike I would go car tire on the rear without a doubt. Up front I would run a rear bike tire reversed... Heavier carcass and last longer. I run a rear Michelin CIII Touring rear 120nwodth tire reversed on stock cast wheel along with my Dunlop 175-60-16 wintersport run flat car rear tire.

40-42 in front 20-25 rear. Front tire can be a rear tire run backwards although an Avon TRIKE tire is preferred! I have a build pdf but am not allowed to attach. I saw your avatar picture on the trike website. It is a fun bike. Triking takes a little getting used to. But the learning curve isn't too awful long. Since champion is gone I'll need info on how to properly do maintenance on the rear axle. I don't like the exhaust on there. It's like Vance and Hines headers cooked up to a pipe, hooked up to a cherry bomb type muffler. Oh I just zoomed in on your exhaust that's what I want to do factor exhaust stage one.

How did you do that with the exhaust did you use all factory stuff or did you have to get extra stuff to go in between headers and muffler s? The Vance & Hines want to burn your leg and you have to put a wrap on it I never like Vance and Hines because they don't have effective heat shields, down here in Florida makes a difference

I just sold a stock front mag wheel... Would look much better than the spoke and not have to mess with tubes anymore. You got a killer deal on that. Good thing you found it before me... Would have snagged that up in a minute for under $5k. You can out some $ and time into that and still make money if you sell it in a few years!LET'S RIDE

Oh I used the stuff called totally awesome, it comes in a spray bottle, it's yellow my 90-year-old neighbor told me about it for cleaning wheels and stuff. I sprayed it on the gas that stained the motor, and it came right off. Course I hose It Off liberally with water after that. That all dried up nasty gas really has a stank.

After I bought a used cobra pipe and header and had to split and make new curved sections. The sound was too loud and still blatty. I kept the larger cobra header and added a 4" megaphone slip on. That was still too noisy and had an annoying drone. I added home made lollipops and that made it sound much better
